Shining the Light on Symbiosis
This Is Who We Are
The primary goal of SymbioLumina is to connect people with our natural environment while transforming landscapes by integrating greater biodiversity, resilience, wildlife habitat, soil health and ecological stability. The secondary goal is to increase energy, food, fuel and fiber independence of individuals, families and bioregional communities. The tertiary goal is to educate as many students as possible by working with schools, conventions, nonprofit organizations, projects and events to promote and infuse eco-literacy, skills and tools that will empower all of us to create a better world and a brighter future.
Our main vision is to expand our work with our local neighborhoods, communities and districts in order to begin building and continue to build multifunctional landscapes in the forms of integrated forest gardens, food forests, community gardens and polycultural orchards. Weaving together perennial and annual plants to bring more longevity, productivity and efficiency to the amazing places in which we dwell, recreate, play and host meetings, picnics or gatherings. It’s vitally important that we participate in centering our commons around the natural and cultural phenomena that give all of us life by providing clean energy, water, earth and air. As employees, members and participants of SymbioLumina, we aspire to help as many people, plants, animals and beneficial microbes as possible through our diligent, dedicated actions and interactions amongst our clients, neighbors, family and friends.
SymbioLumina was founded with inspired minds and hearts by understanding that higher levels of resonance between society and nature can be achieved through the conscious design and implementation of permaculture, regenerative agriculture and ecological landscaping.
